ok plz dont flame me i just started skinning

ok im not ganna flame you but the skins yo made for the ground are very easy, even i can do that and i suck at skinning

Did you take those pictures with Yelo? Because they aren't that good of quality and it makes the skin look pink and I think it might be red

I think its good for a first , although it looks like a lightmap change to red. I also have no clue wat the second pic is. And one more thing - do you not know how to take pix with the trainer?

That is pretty much what I just said. IKP1SAT I was going to ask you this in a private message but since I need to be on topic and it involves the trainer and your pictures do you want me to help you get Yelo working? I have seriously helped alot of people with it and most of the time they get it working so I can get it working for you.

erm. skins are much more complicated.. giving an existing bitmap a different color overlay isn't special.

Well, at least you have a basic understanding of how to do it.

I dont like the skin seems simple, atleast you tried...... and crack kills......

About those plants, it looks like you took the alpha off and now they look like pieces of paper with plants drawn on them.

As for skinning, try making skins that dont look like the normal ones just color changed. Make them grass or change it so its a totally different texture.

And do calm down, its a forum, people have opinions. Everyone here has been yelled at for something.

lol that is the weeds i accidently added a background to it lol hey when u skin the banshee warthog or any other vehicle what files do u skin because everytime i skin a warthog im skinnin it and then when i go to the map it isnt skinned and i think im skinnin the wrong file... u guys got any good skinning tuts i can use???

i didnt ask that though i need to know how to skin vehicles like what is the files to skin because i think im skinning the wrong ones thx
