Well, that would have been a great idea. Hopefully you fix Gmax.

If you're making a Jarhead map, it would be cool if you made it the flaming oil fields. That would be super-giggity. You could set the offensive base in the desert outside of the oil fields, and put the defensive base in the oil fields, the latter being complete with:

- A pitch-black, smoke filled sky.

- Huge columns of flame spouting from the ground (designated areas that spawn the flamethrower projectile, except much wider, and with the firing sound swapped with that of the regular fires on the T&R and PoA). Also, if you step into them, make it so that you sink into them, die, and then get shot back up into the sky(scripting from the lava-pools in Lolcano).

- Keeping with the columns of flame, also make them spout the slime that drips from the ceiling in 343GS, color it black (like the raining oil from the movie), re-color the patches where it hits the floor, and for more cool rain effects, enable dynamic weather (environmental rain), and if you can, color that black too. Very probably a tad difficult, though...

- Lastly, make random black puddles along the floor and, you guessed it, color those black also.

Anyway, besides being difficult and next to impossible, they're just suggestions and it's your map. Kudos and keep up the good work.

If you could rip  (omg) **cough**cough** (borrow) the pelican smoke from halo2 (like when it's crashing) that would be the perfect color and gross thick density and stuff.

Or I guess you could just color smoke black. Anyways I love the whole idea.

Maybe you should wait until you get more progress to show.

Is this supposed to be based off a specific local. from jarhead, or is it basicly Desert Storm?

yeah you might be the only person who didnt read the sig regulations either. 500x120 is the max size for sigs.
