Hey guys im finally back and i hope to stay...since summers coming up i have more time to mod and skin.... I'm making a mod called fun in the sun and heres a quick glipse of what the sky will most likely look like:
The mod will include various beach things as beach chairs, beach balls, and secret weapon that will really set the mood, new vehicles and skins for practically everything will help you go on a vacation without leaving your house (not really this speech is sooo cheezy...mmm..cheese)
tell me what you think, and make sure to give me any ideas if you ahve some.

Well, Since You are doing skies.. Look at the Old Halo 1 Before-there-was-an-Xbox-and-it was-Mainly-Mac-Vers Skies for Inspiration...
I think the Gradients will also be your friend...

Lightmap Editing Tutorial by [ZMT] L33T
1. Open your map in HMT.
2. Expand "[bitm] Bitmap"
3a. If you're editing an MP map, click "levels\test\MAPNAME\MAPNAME"
3b. If you're editing an SP map, click "levels\MAPNAME\BSPSECTION" (Note that SP maps have a lightmap for each BSP section, and you may end up editing all of them)
4. Extract all the bitmaps from the tag.
5. Open up all the bitmaps in Photoshop.
6a. To brighten/darken the map, use "Image -> Adjustments -> Brightness/Contrast" and fiddle with the settings. (Note that it's best to use the same settings for all the bitmaps so your map looks evenly lit.)
6b. To change the color of the light on the map, use "Image -> Adjustments -> Hue/Saturation" or "Image -> Adjustments -> Color Balance" (Note that it's best to use the same settings for all the bitmaps so your map looks evenly lit.)
7. Save all the bitmaps. (The format should be "R5G6B5")
8. Reinject with HMT.
Hope this helps.
BTW, please resize your images to 800x600 or lower.
