A base 3d model

I made a model of a base in 3ds max, If you want it, PM me.
The first pic is a overview with the location of the renders I made, click the link with the corresponding number to see a rendered shot with a master chief on it.

This seems pretty basic. The Excellent Man will rate it 3/10, as it is obviously one of your first tries and you have put some effort into it. The Excellent Man suggests you try to make it more detailed, and spend a little while longer on the scenes.

stfu what have you done in 3d modelling,modding or even posting any work all you have posted is your stupid spam "awards" that have no meaning whatsoever I geive you the very very unexcellent award for your stupidity. saddam pay no attention to this loser he has no life.

Yea Saddam, if you just mirror that, and put those bases in a big room.. or a canyon, or a crater.. add some vehicles, you'll be all set :)

I am making a map named Death Arena, does anybody know where to get Blitzkrieg (or W/E) for 3ds max 7?

I got the model for the map ready so... it's gonna be a basic map, just a arena with vehicles and some weapons, GREAT for team slayer.

excellent man, i think you're extremely annoying. i wonder if you've gotten any warnings for your spam.

saddam, keep up the good work. you're doing fine. i'm not going to rate it. you have a ways to go, but you're doing ok. what look were you going for? human base? forerunner base? obviously not covenant so i won't put that up as a possibility.

at the moment it's ambiguous, but your modeling seems decent. nice work.

you think that posting all of those "excellent awards" without any real critique is not spam? i may have a different definition of spam than yourself, but i feel that it's pointless. pointless= spam

anyways, staying ON TOPIC...

Saddam, i can appreciate what you did with renders 1-5. they illustrate the realative size of the base very well. however, the blotchy texture you applied makes it relatively hard to understand the surfaces, as the geometry is broken up. it has a camo-like effect. perhaps try to do clay renders. everything could be gray, on a gray plane, with a gray material applied to the mc as well. well, probably go a shade or two lighter on chief.

also, your use of the sky in the background does not help illustrate anything about your bases. perhaps change the environment color to a light blue to simulate sky. a plane with a jpg of sky applied is er... well, not working out too well.

upon further review of the geometry, it looks like you may have some errors. to the right side of the ramp, where it ends, up top (on the wall) it looks like you have some extra polies or vertices. you may want to check that out. good luck.

1 question thought... how come my bitmaps weren't converted along with my map?
