critical about every post geeze...lighten up no ones as good as you when it comes to modeling inorger to crituque somene properly you dont just say "That is not a good model"

lower your standards, bring your skill level to down to ours, you might have years of modeling behind you and, sorry if this doesnt make sense but im a little distracted at the moment, know alot about the programs needed to model, but some of us sit down and only know how to do raw models and non flowing non presentable items, but hey we try.

so next time you look at a model like this try to give positive ways on how to correct the poor construction.

my recomondation is to check out some other edit tools , like 4*4 bla bla bla and stuff , and more pictures of the gun. get to know max a bit better and ofcorse , model tons of things! Everything u can imagine. try getting higher and higher challenges , explore tut websites like www.3dtotal.com or www.3dkingdom.org and always go higher. Eventiualy modeling a gun will be a peace of cake. If u wanna get better, u need to learn and practice! :D

there :)

Sorry, but I don't know a single person who has standards so low that they look at extruded splines as some godly creation. Also, he just posted the model, nothing else, he didn't ask for C&C or anything, so by me saying I don't like it and not giving further critique, I'm STILL going above and beyond his expectations. So I'm sorry General Church for going above other people's expectations. I'll try to lower my standards to yours next time.

I dont understand why people keep bitching when someone says its not good people try to be honest if it looks bad people will say it looks bad so that the person who made it will know it is bad and will try harder, But if nobody says its bad when it really is he will keep making stuff that looks bad but will think it is good.

All the hate starts with Veegie when he posts something that can go both ways.

Anyways, that model looks nice in my book. Especially since I'm not that fancy in graphic modeling.

exactly

oh btw try connecting the mag to the rest of the model that way you dont have the small gap between the mag and the rest of the model

All the "hate"?

No no no, all the tips and constructive criticism. BUT.

BUT.

If you do not post you want to recieve criticism, you are not getting it, it's as simple as that.

In fact, this topic could be considered as spam.

But, he asked how to smooth it.

He didnt ask for criticism.
