What people thought was a Halo 3 screenshot leak, well it's not a leak

I decided to post this up in the forums to let you look at a sexy-@$$ pic that MIGHT be on Halo 3 AHH it makes me wanna SCREAM!!!! just take a look at the pic (link provided)

BTW, its not a leak, i think it shuld be user made im not sure

ok dude, this wasnt a leak, its a photoshoped image. 100% loo kat bungies images, there is the same exact pic of that smg in the same direction, same way, shape. the background is from doom. im a huge doom fan and i remeber that in the game.

Yeah, I saw that, after 2 seconds i realized it was photoshopped. Lighting on SMG is wrong compared to background. Background is from Doom 3 (after much thought) It's just fake...

That doesn't even look remotely like what Halo 3 will be. Look at other Xbox 360 games and you'll agree. The 360 launch titles look better than that, and Halo 3's not coming out until like....PS3's launch date...dunno when that is, anyone wanna finish that up for me?

well you have to admit they did a pretty good job

dude the smg is from one of bungies early renders. it was cut a pasted over a screenshot of doom. its not even done to well.

it was a prey or doom screenshot with a early smg render, one of those too.

I agree, this is old news. Anyone who was fooled by that "leak" picture should feel really sheepish now. Those of us who weren't, good! You should all know by now that bungie isn't valve and doesn't leak their code or screenshots to push up hype while trying to buy time before release.

this is definatly a fake. my uncle works for the graphics part of microsoft he hasn't heard much except they have just been doing small renders for new games such as halo 3. so im gunna say yeah thats a fake.

not really, anyone can take the smg from a halo pic, and a screen from doom 3. put the smg in the bottom right corner, then crop it to the right ratios.
