Wowww that looks sick... I dig the model's detail map... buut, sticking with the whole 'Project Carbon' thing... you should definatly make MC's armor some kind of carbon fiber ;)

When I built my sp maps I said the exact same thing to myself. You can't do much except hope people will. :)

so trulife did you ever work on that hunter cannon that appears when you kill a hunter? i'm really wanting to see that in there. when i think about it, it would be kinda cool to have a lot of stuff like that, like the jackal shield when you kill a jackal (except make it useful somehow) maybe make all vehicles flyable/drivable just because. maybe if a hog blows up you can use the hog's chaingun. i dunno just some ideas i thought i would throw at ya.

also just to be clear, are you remaking one level or all the levels, i would be very interested in having a FULL campaign mod with every level skinned and have new features, i would totally make a .iso of it. i would be willing to help with the skins if you liek too, it's been a long time since i have skinned something but i have only gotten better at photoshop.

That is a very good idea, to make those weapons usable, I know the team is going to kill me for saying this but I just have to, We are going to make it so like different objects could be used as weapons, lets say you walk passed the peli crash in outskirts, there will be like rocks you can pick up and use as weapons, and you can use different objects as weapons. Ok im shutting up you guys are not getting any more info off me lol.

And also rotten my aim name is Trulife1337 and we will talk about you joining because its not only my decision.

hmmm maybe i'm saying this because i have been playing too much half life 2 but maybe you should make like a gravity gun, hell use that one thats already made just add a model too it. also thats a great idea, i've always wanted to smash an elites face in with a small supply box!


edit: well i guess i have to download aim again, i'm not really looking for any credit or anything, i was just saying if you need some help skinning, i don't need to "join" or whatever, this just seems like something i'd be interested in and i thought if you need some sort of help, be it textures or full out skinning all you have to do is ask.

As said earlier, having enemies like the hunter drop their weapons is simple and it will be used, its a simple process which I'll probably write up on at some point (Thankyou faisal)

Weapons are going under concept work and production, their functions, features and looks aren't going to be shown yet :P

One thing to mention, whilst not giving away some ideas enough already, is that considering single player is non system link, it means that there will be no problems in using the stun and force features for weapons as they do not need to sync with other players... Most of the disadvantages seen with things not being synced in MP could be utilised in SP.

sweet deal, this is going to be awesome, the only thing i feel that i can't pressure enough for a good mod now adays is to stay "true" tp the halo universe. i think this entails not having over the top weapons modifications and what not. i for one don't enjoy firing a battle rifle and having bubbles and rings shoot out or shooting a carbine and having the bullet explode in flames. i think all of you are exceptional modders though and know when to stop so i have complete faith that this is going to be a blast.

Currently, most of my weapon ideas are ones that are powerful, however, being a person who values balance of weapons in a mod, I woujldnt be able to do such a thing...
Powerful weapons would be infrequent in contrast to normal or weaker weapons and there will be a fair amount of balance involved...

I also won't be making all weapons like ZOMG EFFEXS, but I will try to make them look good.

Thankfully with a team which I consider is full of exceptional modders in their fields with different opinions, I believe we won't be taking this mod too far away from the halo universe, or not really too far at all... It's too early in the project to tell though.
