Yes, snow is white, well actually its clear, because snow is water, err ice crystals. But I don't think you'll find much white snow in a battlefield, so I'd go with off white.
I wasn't trying to be funny, I was just being well...me.Hawaiian Modder wrote:Wasn't funny the first time, not funny this time.TomClancey wrote: Make the blue snow yellow Wink.

ummm no, stop arguing this you're wrong, pollutants in the air, dust, dirt, if all those didnt exist, maybe just maybe snow might be white but they do and because snow falls from the sky it catches all these things and it is a sort of off white, i'm not talking creamy or beige or tan. just off white, like an eggshell. so how about you quit insisting you're right or go make your own snow mod...

I have two problems with it though, the glowing bit where the ghost spawns and the blue...I'm all for having some nice looking snow but the blue is a bit too strong...I'm not being a McGeo here, just give it less saturation perhaps?
exactly, solid colors make for bland skins, a little variation keeps it more realistic. lowering the saturation is exactly what is needed scotty said it best.
pyroman: i retract my statement about the skin on HEH after seeing these new pics it looks alot better.
r0tten, the lightmap and bump maps would give it the required variation. It would also be more realistic. Last time it snowed here (little over two weeks ago) the snow did not have giant blue patches and stuff, is was white.
I'm only trying to help him make his skin better, and more realistic. Snow should be bright, and very white... maybe you should learn to type instead of insisting you're right.
