That would be great. I will want them.trepdimeflou wrote:once the mod is released, I'll also release a ready-to-be-built tag set of just the h3mc for anyone that wants it.

Because that would require you to remodel or add/remove vertices.scynide wrote:You have done the rest so far. Why can't you do the gloves?trepdimeflou wrote:FP textures are now done
I'm not sure if the gloves are even possible right now.
With said modifications to a model, you would not be able to import vertice weights or node hierarchy. So no fingers etc would move or anything. the only thing possible with any public tools would be to move some vertices around and match the texture as best as possible.

Would null out the vertices on the original model?trepdimeflou wrote:Well, actually, I was recently informed of a way to accomplish it.
Inject the new model and add it as an attachment to the MC, then link it to the hand nodes. It may work, so I'm going to try it later this week.
I can understand how you would manually define parent/child relationships. But do you have vertice weights figured out? That is key when it comes to first person.
Any other object than a character though, it really doesn't matter.
EDIT: You blocked me on aim

Oh I get it. Sorry I did not know it was so complicated. trep you might be able to remodel a general shape for the hand, and then get a really good bump map on it. That would probably be easier than trying to get the model perfect. At least that way you might be able to move vertices around enough to make it look good.Veegie wrote:Because that would require you to remodel or add/remove vertices.

That looks sexy. =)
EDIT: I just noticed I see the purple from the bump map. You might want to do something about that.
