wait Im almost sure the ark is on earth, wouldn't that mean theres an ark on every halo installation. How was that Sargent saved himself in halo 1?

Because the Flood didn't attack him, he escaped on a Pelican, they explain it in First Strike.

Yes, they explained it in First Strike, but he was attacked - and quite a few infection forms tried to infect him - but they all failed because he had a nervous system disorder and his nerves are all jumbled and messed up - it was caused by overexposure to the radiation from Covenant plasma weapons.

i dont remember bungie saying that the ark IS on earth just that it might be on earth....would make sence if it were to be the ark it would have simular structures to those found on halo aka those pillars and inside buildings.

Bungie said the trailer takes place on Earth.
The ark is shown in the trailer.
The Ark is on Earth.

How can you be so sure that what was shown in the trailer was the ark? I do not recall any confirmation of that.
