Yeah, I just slapped on those bumps to get the model up and running. I was working like a madman trying to finish this render because I was making it for a prise for a HALO system link tournament my friends and I were having. I managed to print it about 10 minutes before I had to leave
I'll tweak the material a little, just to see what looks right.

VictoryPile
I also made a handy dummy object with custom attributes for the color changing of the Elite and spartan. Now I can just select the dummy object and change the primary and secondary (and visor for the spartan) colors instead of having to navigate the shader back and forth and it's a real life (and time
) saver for scenes with multiple characters. Anyone want me to post how to do it in the tutorials section?
=sw=warlord, that's real nice! Try adding some glow to the engines and tweaking the engines and it should make a good wallpaper

Are you left handed? And how can he use a bump mapped battle rifle from the future without his head exploding
lol jk Nice render! Maybe try adding little benches that span the beams chief is standing in I see that allot at indoor shooting ranges it's a good place to put all your stuff. You could maybe put a few boxes of ammo or one or two magnums on it. Over all I like the scene but I agree about the shadows and lighting. Good job!

that would be a lot of composite work to add benches and all that to a real-life photographTanasoo wrote:Are you left handed? I just wanted to shut masters up, not spend any time on it. ;Xtrepdimeflou wrote:There also should be global illumination, so the shadows are softer and more dense right below him, then fade out as they get farther away.Doom wrote:Wow nice render Veegie! Just it seems like the armor should be a little brighter with all the lights above him.

This is one of my favourite composites to date though;

::hands you a dunce cap:: good job...DWells55 wrote:Hmm, that BR flashlight model looks familiar
nice renders veeg. tanasoo, love victory pile. one of the best concepts i've seen in a while.
Dude. No. Do you even know who Katarn and Snaf are?They are some of the few 1337est modelers that have ever set foot in CE. =D
