rubber is a bit too reflective in my opinion. and the shots look bad. but if its a wip then good job because that stuff is easy to fix.

use the blur effect in the environment settings. the shots just dont look realistic at all, like it was added in with ms paint. you should make some kind of bullets and put them coming out with motion blur, and for the "flash" use particles.

I'd just add a muzzle flash to the barrel (you could rip Halo 1's bitmap) and drop the bullets altogether. Bullets are only visible if you specifically fired a tracer round.

The bullet explosion needs more red and orange and the bullets don't look like there flying straight.

It looks as though he was dipped in a vat of oil, but I kind of like the effect.
