Why does the hole in the barrel have a reflection? >_>

Thumb's going through the Magnum.

Something about the forearm doesn't seem right but I could be wrong...take it from here Veegie. >_>

But I must say, I like your Magnum material and the SMG doesn't look bad from far away.

It's not a reflection, there are no reflections on the magnum.

I..didn't even notice the thumb lol thanks

Probably the big effing line going own it? Just a thought. lol

Well they may not be reflections but it's something on the hole in the barrel...

Try rendering out a little larger too, and possibly add an environment of some sort, even 2 planes would work fine here.

Anyway, thanks goes to veegie for his help (and bumpmap)

I think Halo 2 Rules' (Jean Luc) bump map is the best if you are going for a custom/realistic look and aren't as concerned about accuracy to the game. :D
