Alright guys. Haven't been here for a while but I've got a question about rendering.
When ever I try rendering my scene it turns out extremely dark.
I've added an omni light in front of his face and it doesn't help.
I'll then add a daylight system and it makes it way to bright and too dark in the shadow.
Anyone know why this may be happening.
Also, in my perspective view port, it doesn't display the bump map or the specular.
Is that normal or is something wrong?

No, that is normal. But the other parts I don't know why that is happening. By default the light should make your render bright. Maybe your light is in negative.OozyGorilla wrote:

r u using bump map or norm map? if u are using bump, you might want to try norm. also i have a question, why does it when i add bump map the black part of the bump turns the scene really dark and norm works fine?

Alright, it was that the settings. I messed them up some how. I got the what I think are the defaults from an other scene. Now, with no lights, the render is extremely bright.Keablr wrote:No, that is normal. But the other parts I don't know why that is happening. By default the light should make your render bright. I then add a light and it seems better.
They still seem bright, any ideas?
He should try this.
