Why such a large video for such a trivial task? It would be much easier to just write it out.

nahh recording a vid is easier than taking pics and besides i've had countless people come to me and say they couldn't understand a tutorial because it didnt go into enough detail.

Maybe a difficult tutorial, but not one where you just need to swap one value and click "Save." I suppose that yes, people who are incapable of following such a stupefyingly easy task would find a tutorial difficult to follow. I would give you direct criticism on your video, but it refuses to load in any browser and I'm not downloading a 500mb video about something that can be explained as "Spawn stuff in Forge, swap values in any Forge editing program, save map."

pretty much :) buuuut you have to also understand that most people have the capability of modding but dont know how to do the simplest things like swapping a tag  :)

No, they don't. The people who don't know anything probably aren't the ones with the tools necessary to mod in the first place.

Maybe you could upload several different qualities for those of us on slower connections and maybe upload it to dailymotion of another video sharing site where you can stream videos instead of downloading them.

How about you write up a text tutorial, and leave the video for those people who aren't capable of reading.
