I suck at explaining, here is the best way:

This rehashes the forge map file. The rehashing is like a verification, as the file contains a master hash table, kinda like with rar files, when you get a crc error, however, once rehashed, they need to be resigned, this is there way of telling itself its not modified, however, this fixes it so it isnt "modified"..

Idk, that's my best i can explain right now.

Actually 100% of the people here. Because if you can resgin CON files, you wouldent need this.

You need to rehash CON files for them to work. And Anthony and a few others here can resign CON files, so it's not 100%.

Yes, but how many people can resgin and not rehash.

Never mind, I thought you were insinuating that resigning meant you didn't have to fix the hashes.

You open the halo 3 map in engineer, then get the ident of w/e object you want. Then in Hex search for it, as in right click -> Find.

I'm not sure, but I think it actually "resigns"(big 'quote quote' there), one of the hashes, or whatever. But there's still a lot more you have to do, that the average person can't.

Think of it as a check, if the check is good, then its authentic. If not then it has been tampered with and doesent load it.

No. It had to do with a completely unrelated project. Is your question about this program or in any way directed at existing discussion? No. It goes in a PM. You are asking an irrelevant question to the topic.

You must stop it and delete this topic.
You must stop post this application, it will corrupt Halo 3 and the Xbox Live...
