So i know pretty much no one can .map mod but for those that can do you guys no longer need modded dvd drives to edit those maps? now that nxe allows you to copy your game dvd to hard disk and all.

its been a while so i dont know how .map files for the original maps are stored. be it via dvd like H2 or if it copies them to hdd already.

Veegie made this thread so that people don't clutter this forum with random questions.

Secondly, I suspect that from the following comments within said thread, it's no easier for them, either.
They could probably go through the extra effort of doing so, but there's probably no point.
