rehashers

im having some probs i edit my map with hex save it but when i open it in a rehasher or reisner it dont work plz help

Did you get the xbox NXE update? If you did, then you have a very low likelyhood of having a working resigner. Mos of the keyvaults were banned, and the ones in public resigners that weren't, will be banned eventually. CON modding is pretty much dead.

Not really...

People who have their own KV's can keep modding forever.

If you are getting an error when you open it in a resigner program, you must have edited it wrong. What are you trying to do? There are many public programs that can probably do what you need.

i got the file to resign now in forge v2.5
but when i put it on my 360 it says its corrupted

what does this mean


if you could would you plz tell me step by step
how to mod a forged map using forge 2.5 and xplorer 360 with a datel transfer kit

You are doign everything correctly, but Forge uses a banned keyvault when it resigns the file. Meaning it will always appear as corrupt. You will have to get an ubanned keyvault to resign the file.

Look on somewhere like www.xbox-scene.com to find out how to extract your own keyvault. However, do not, and I mean DO NOT post anything which makes you sound like a noob. You will be ripped to shreds, and then banned.

Im getting a new problem now

i can get it to stay uncorrupted but it doesnt show up in my halo 3 maps in the game

but i can see it on the hdd from the main dash

plz help... again?

You aren't going to be able to play it, you're using a banned KV to resign it, and there isn't a workaround without a less-publicized one, which you won't find on this site. You're going to be very hard-pressed to play any mods.

ANYTHING resigned with a banned keyvault will ALWAYS show up as corrupted. Like Tural said, there is not other way to get it to show up as a valid file unless you get a keyvault that has not been banned.

No, if you can see it in the Dash and it's not corrupted, you aren't using a banned keyvault.

If it doesn't show up in Halo 3, make sure you are using your profile and device ID's and that it's rehashed.

You don't put the KV.bin anywhere on your 360, you use it for resigners.

You need your ID's is you are getting maps from somewhere other than your 360.

i need like a forking how to list ( im gettin kinda mad )

first i modded the map using forge 2.5 but didnt resign it in that app
i have the container tool and put my modded map con file into there i made a profile and device id and resined it but it still will not show up on my halo 3 maps in the game

plz for the love of god someone help me PLZ!!!!!

p.s. now it says its corrupted again i need to know how to put the KV in the resinger

Put the KV in the directory of the Halomods Container Tool and resign.

You will not get banned unless you upload a modded Halo 3 item to your File Share. If you do that and get banned, there is no way to un-ban yourself.

Yea all u do is make a map in forge 2.5 resign it then after use another resigner W/ un banned Kv and just resign W/O hashing it ;) i do it all the time

EDIT: NVM ill upload a new kv for FORGE 2.5 ;)
