Which way to go Infectus2 or Cygnos360?

My ultimate goal here is to get my own private kv (keypair) using the Xell exploit to run Linux and therefore be able to get said keypair, in which I hopefully will be able to resign once again and not get screwed... Where my dilemma arises is the chip in which to do so... Should I use infectus2 on a 360 Elite and downgrade the thing to "4532" or "4548" Exploitable Kernel or use the Cygnos360? Each has their own advantages from what I've read but the Infectus2 seems to be more customizable.

Any help in this matter would be deeply appreciated.

I'm pretty sure he meant that Halomods doesn't support this kind of stuff, and that you should take those questions to xbox-scene.

From what I've seen halomods doesn't help people chip/softmod their xboxes, they leave that to other sites.

Ummm as for not being able to downgrade a Elite...Show me your proof. I've read from the makers of the Cygnos360 that it can... Keep in mind the new Cygnos chip hasn't come out yet so I can't prove it. It's a dual NAND chip for ALL 360's so by that statement I take that it should be possible.

Sad that all public KV's are going bye bye. At least it gets rid of all the pointless junk and what not.

Why the hell would he need proof? Hes not trying to sell you a product... He is simply trying to help you out and stop you from wasting time by buying something that wont work... O wow you must have took that way differently than I meant it. I was just simply saying hey if you wouldn't mind further explaining or giving proof than just saying it won’t work.

Seriously though I just posted it for yalls opinion and I really do appreciate that.

As for you Anthony there is NO reason to call me an idiot and the only reason I considered the Cygnos is because it seemed like a viable alternative when I first looked at it but still thank you for your input.

Finally CompKronos I know this discussion is not supported hear but I believed that there would be at least a few people whom might know a lil about this subject. I also have been on this forum since like Dec 2005 and kind of feel partial to it so I asked here first.

Yeah lol thanks the site I read the description for the Cygnos product kind of left that part out and said that It came with the tools needed to preform a NAND dump...Which was VERY misleading and turns out it does nothing of the sort... It's just adds another NAND flash chip to ones mainboard so that you can flash that chip with a exploitable kernal.

Thanks for being understanding, as far as people who are knowledgeable on the subject i would trust grim or anthony, (anthony being the man who was one of the first to make his own CON resigner which used to be too far of a reach unless you had the right equipment and understanding) also grim as I have seen on the xbox hacker knows quite a fair amount about the xbox architecture/inter-workings (definitely more than i know). Although i would recommend PM because that doesn't violate rules. Also don't ask me can't really help you that much.

Yeah my issue now tho is with the programming side like putting that KV into a resigner. Not obtaining the KV, even tho I would like help in it all from someone who has done it before.. I myself have done many adv. hardware mods before so I believe this shouldn't be too much of a challenge for me....Hopefully lol.

***Update**** I got my hands on a KV without all this n a programmer to make something to resign files.... Hopefully the KV isn't blacklisted. I'll know soon enough I guess, o and no I'm not testing it on my box lol.

Nah I'm more of an In Flames - Dimmu Borgir - Anything worth listening to aside from rap kind of person. I grew up listing to oldies like the Platters to Frank Sinatra even some Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson lolz... O and as a DJ I LOVE TECHNO!!!!
