Main Menu font

is it possible to get the font that is used in the Halo 3 main menu? or is it done like the Halo 1 UI was with bitmaps instead of actual text?

Yes. You can get it on your PC, but not from the actual game. Here is a nice Halo font:

no, not that font, I mean the font that the main menu item appear in. like "Start Solo Game" or "Theater" or "Quit". Not the "Halo" font.

Well on the disk there is font packages in the maps folder but they are .bin files so I don't know how you could use them...

I think I might be able to open them, I am not sure on how legal this is, but if anything of this is not then I understand, but if you or someone could upload them for me I would appreciate it.

It isn't free, and I don't think you'll find it for free, anywhere. Trust me I looked for a long time, but I ended up getting it from a friend.
