Alright I know a little about modding but how can I find out what all the codes mean on the maps in engineer and johnson. I want to know what all the random numbers put together mean.

Do you mean what dies all the hex means?

I think he may mean what all of the large numbers mean when you open the meta editor on a tag. There are a lot of numbers and chunks that really don't point to anything.

I thought they pointed to the location of the reflexives meta in the map file

Its hard for one person to tell you, but if you look around on forms like here and se7ensins, you can learn alot about modding by reading. The first post I had on here was "how do you mod with engineer" now I know a whole lot about modding, and with a friend I'm trying to break the Halo 3 hashes.

maybe you should learn the basic to hex? that might give you a background of what "those large numbers and letters" mean

i suggest maybe starting out easy in halo 1 modding to learn about this dont jump to conclusions and if you want theres probaley tutorials and this site and a all around the web
