xbox 360 backups use dvd+R DL which are pretty expensive, i doubt many ppl would be up to it unless it did something pretty amazing.

EDIT: yea as anthony said, if you want to backup the game now u can always do the wxripper method, pretty easy (thats what i have to do since my pc dosent want to detect the 360 drive).

There are DVD+R DL Rewritable discs and i think they are sold to public, so you might want to look for that on ebay or whatever. :P

So you're admitting to using an illegally copied disc on Xbox Live?

no, he owns the original halo 3 dvd, so it's legal to make a backup of it.

However its against xbox lives terms of service to modify your console and play on xbox live. Which is essentially what he just admitted to...Probably other stuff... Tural is smarter than I. So if I missed someone or I am wrong, he'll be here any second :P

No, actually, it is not. The discs have encryption on them which prevents them from being copied by normal means. You must use tools to work around/forge the encryptions to copy the games. Anything which circumvents copy protections is illegal under the DMCA, regardless of whether or not you own the game legally. Furthermore, as Scotty said, Shadow Lag stated he was using a copied disc, and since he plays on Live, that would directly imply he uses an illegally copied disc on Xbox Live.
