You are using hex to modify a usermap? Not knocking you for it, because I did it that way too, but Shade's app Sandbox makes things much quicker and easier.

And to answer your question: you can just swap the ident over something else in the index (probably something that is already on the map so you don't have to change the position blocks too).

Can someone answer my question earlier about security? Thanks.

I did'nt mean fileshare, I ment the internet. No shit they would ban you if you put it on your fileshare.

In my original question I meant posting the CON online -- specifically this site. I'm wondering how we can scrub our files so that when/if someone from Microsoft downloads one they don't see (what would normally list) our gamertag, profile ID, device ID, and keypair. This way we can keep the uploaders safe and the downloaders can just change everything to their info after downloading. That way everyone's happy :D

There are 7 of them (plus some invisible ones from other maps) on avalanche. They are all under the [bloc] class.

These are my notes on the differences between them:
mancannonsidewinder04: FB6819F2 - reg
mancannonsidewinder02: FB6019EA - short
mancannonsidewinder03: FB6419EE - fat
mancannonsidewinder05: FB6C19F6 - very skinny (used at top of each base)
mancannonsidewinder06: FB7019FA - fat
mancannonsidewinder07: FB7419FE - huge

Correct me if Im wrong, but you can't spawn stuff in the BSP, correct?

Valhalla's trees are not part of the BSP, nor are the trees on any other map..

Ok.

You know the glitch when you can spawn a turret-less warthog?

How does that work? Is it some how missing a dependancy?

That's an issue with the game not loading dependencies due to the lag they willingly induced. It can't be spawned through a Forge pallet, and there's no way you can modify a Forge variant to cause that, so it doesn't fit common usage of this thread very well. It doesn't really have anything to do with modding in any sense.

I know it really isnt relavent to the thread. I was just asking how it worked.

Unfortunately there are trees we cannot spawn with a usermap. The big forest-like trees on Valhalla can't be spawned--only the relatively-small ones are fair game. I think I tried to spawn some trees on Avalanche a while back with no success.

Really? I was going to try those huge trees in one of my mods. :cry: Why can't some objects be spawned via Forge?
