And how do you Reinject the whole film? I know you can edit the info of it but...

Um.. it wouldn't be hard. You'd have the size of the film right in front of you, you could just put it back in. Vanity just changes values that exist in the film, no data is being added or removed, the size will be the same when you inject it as it was when you extracted it..

Where has Veegie been? Haven't seen him on here in a while... Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong topics...
Senor_Grunt: Okay, so, I was playing CoD4 earlier, and about 30 minutes into playing, the screen went black, then flashed, then the 360 gave me red rings. Only, they weren't rings, they were half of the ring. Like, only two of the controller light thingies were light up red. WTF does this mean? Like seriously. My 360 still works, but it does that like once every week at the least, and it's getting annoying getting to round 16 in the zombie mode for CoD5 (so totally not bragging ), then suddenly blacking out. :[
tucker933: Pour some liquid nitrogen on it.

So in actuality, all we need to do is find the values that are stored in Vanity. That shouldn't be hard at all.

Eh? Editing films is actually really easy, but having a program that does it for you is also nice.

So all you basically do is change the values in HxD?

As with any gametype, usermap, profile, or film editing, yes.

Do you know why most MM films don't show the edits?

Online custom games work just fine, even with other players. Just not MM games.

Ok, I have been adding some values to my plugins lately and I'm trying to add string IDs. I add them, but nothing ever shows up. The value was originally a float, but I converted it to a string ID because it was supposed to be one. I convert it and I get this:

How do I make values appear in the boxes?

Because StringID's weren't publically figured out... We left them as floats so we could at least swap them.

That is what I was thinking, but I just wanted to make sure. I guess finding the answer will come in time.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to ask a newbish question, but what are the retail plugins for? What exactly do they do?

Plugins basically provide more editing options to a tag. Let's say you have a new and updated weap plugin. When you go to the Meta Editor, you will see a lot more values.
