Ok i have a couple of questions
.
1.) For the HEX foge modding can i just switch the identifier on the projectiles then switch it with another proj. identifier?(in HEX)
2.) When ever i see a video on you tube or somehting like that, it says in their forged map that its like "usermap(then a bunch of numbers)" meanwhile i thought my forged files was something like: dlc_sidewinder_variant.blf.(then is this my variant? if not where and how do i get it?) Can someone please help me with these?
Thanks

Sig over width limit.
No, projectiles are not stored in the usermaps, they are stored in the maps.XxXRandyManXxX wrote:1.) For the HEX foge modding can i just switch the identifier on the projectiles then switch it with another proj. identifier?(in HEX)
BLF is an image file, it is not a usermap.XxXRandyManXxX wrote:i thought my forged files was something like: dlc_sidewinder_variant.blf

You could always read the main post, considering it has a Q&A..Veegie wrote:To access user-generated content with XSATA, you must navigate to the Content\[Profile ID]\4D5307E6\00000001 folder, within you will find said files.

Sorry that you refuse to accept the answer from someone who knows it because it has been answered before.
Gravity and speed are enums, meaning they can only be set to the listed values. They are not a stand-alone value in the map file which can be modified. So maybe you can be less ignorant now, and acknowledge that the information given to you is correct. Go read through the gametype editor thread and don't talk down to me when you don't know what you're talking about. Not modding does not mean one is not capable of knowing something, what an ignorant assumption you've made, especially when you didn't take the time to even attempt to find the information yourself. You ask for help after neglecting to look on your own, and you get help, then you decide the help, which was correct, is not good enough. That's completely reasonable.

OK, that's good to know. You could have said that to begin with.Tural wrote:Sorry that you refuse to accept the answer from someone who knows it because it has been answered before.

If you mean I didn't take the hours required of trial and error and staring at a screen of hex, then you are correct. I thought I'd ask first, since, you know, this is a QUESTION AND ANSWER THREAD.Tural wrote:So maybe you can be less ignorant now, and acknowledge that the information given to you is correct. I didn't say it was wrong, it was just, well it was just the word "No." That's not really good "help," sorry.Tural wrote:You ask for help after neglecting to look on your own, and you get help, then you decide the help, which was correct, is not good enough. That's completely reasonable.
Also, while you have cleared up the issue of gravity and speed, there ARE still other options that could be modded. I am asking if someone wouldn't mind posting a more comprehensive list of what can and can't be changed to a "unique" option (one not in the UI).
