  • Reinstate the staff members that resigned. (Assuming they're cooperative)
  • Fix the emblem system with the help of I_F and Tural. (Again, assuming they're willing)
  • Introduce new style sheet(s). (Point 2 would be a prerequisite)
  • Fix the Readers Club.
These are really the only problems that need fixing, though I would like to see additional ideas that people come up with.

I believe that xmt(?) has saved some tutorials that were cut in the upgrade that need to be fixed.
Also this:
Corvette19 wrote:Even though this has been talked about, and is like 2 pages back, I'm bringing it back up. Community Events is what gets people closer to the community, and regular schedule of all three Halo's would probably get some new members a bit more comfortable and give them something to stay at the site for. I thought of ways to get new members in, hosting mods on servers; going out and giving the random halo players just a taste of modding, they will undoubtedly come back for more. I have seen it myself, numerous times, how do you think all those leaked Halo 3 forge variants got around so quickly? Don't you remember how random people on Halo 2 would worship a modder who could shoot tank shells out of a plasma pistol? I know one way of getting some Halo PC members in; pushing joiner friendly mods to the limits, give them everything they can possibly get without needing the actual map file, and telling them where they can get "more" Over spring break, I'm going to probably work on some Halo PC mods, and if we could get some dedicated servers that could host the mod, advertising Halomods' name, would undoubtedly get some new members. I've done this myself in my own private servers, and I've been the random guy who has seen the mods, and searched for hours for the mods on google. Anyways, community events would easily bring more members in, while also strengthening relationships between the people.

Yah, but let's not get offtopic here, this thread is intended for big-picture stuff. I'll just report those posts I find that are incomplete and everyone should do the same.

I'm willing to offer my assistance with the coding stuff, although php isn't really my area of expertise.

This topic is pointless. There are two topics that are both 7 pages or longer that clearly outline everything thats wrong with the site. If you want to create a topic like this, go through the other two and fix the broken stuff pointed out in those, then create this topic saying "Ok I fixed this, this and this, what else needs fixing?".

Grim, keeping all of the suggestions here in a nice, organized way without any flaming is a better way to deal with this IMO.

I'd like to see some emblems that I could earn! No really, how many emblems are there for HPC? I'd like to see some awarded for winning modding competitions, like tucker did.

A new theme would be nice, but that's not #1 on my list. It should be dark blue like we had years back.

Definitely need more competitions like SOTW for all sorts of categories.

List huh? Here are 293 posts of cries for help. There are probally 50 posts of actuall problems, suggestions, and comments that pertain to the site. Get Cracking. Also you have my resignation with this post. This site is out of control, nothing gets done, the current administration is a joke, and there is nothing that would attract me to stay here.

Reader's club is fine not working. The "banning" system is more effective as long as we don't slouch on the times of which these bans were given, and giving leeway towards those that these bans were handed down.

Cuda, I've always known you to have horrible judgement, and this is a good example..

Bans and RCs are used for two different things..

Fix Readers Club, it shouldn't be hard, and it'd be cooler to have two systems.

Someone needs to make a Hello Kitty design, tbh.

Perhaps you could help with the Readers Club? I literally don't know how to go about it. Making a group with no posting rights is easy, allowing the staff to add people to that group isn't a default option in phpbb3.
