Upgrade from phpBB 2.0 to 3.0

Well, I've just started using phpBB 3.0 on my forums and I have to say, it's amazing.

This forum is great and all, but why not an update? I think everyone here wants to see something other than the old, basic forums skin!

Skin will not change. This skin is here for a reason. Go read the dozens of threads.
This forum has too many mods to upgrade. Go read other threads.
There is no reason, at all, that this site needs to upgrade. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

From what I can tell, phpBB3 just adds more crap we don't need and all in all is more work than I (or more accurately, Iron_Forge) would want to do for such a minor improvement.

I love the skin. Why would you or anybody else wish to change it? It has become the "Halomods" look. It would be like McDonald's bagging the red and yellow and putting blue and fluorescent tan all over their buildings. Why change a good thing?

Hey, if you want different colors, adjust the color contrast of your monitor while you're here (or just put on 3d glasses).

There's a thread somewhere around here talking about how you can change the theme (most of it, anyway) using a firefox extention.
