Rules and Regulations suggestion
I know that a few of the admins don't like me a whole lot (I don't break any rules, I just hate to see people flame), but if you could, take some time to look this topic over and put something about it in the Rules and Regulations section.

I know that it seems, well, kind of a petty complaint, but I know that it affects myself, as well as other members that I have communicated with through email or instant messaging (not mentioning any names, because I don't want to bring anyone into this).
Constructive critism it rarely... constructive. People LOVE to let someone konw what they did wrong, but fail to tell them what they could have done instead. I know that it can be a heartbreaker when you spend hours learning how to use a program, make something that you think is cool, post it, and get attacked because your work is not up to par with everyone's standards.
If you could, please take the time to look into this subject and address it. Thank you.

We've been over this issue in the past. It's not nice, nor is it respectful, but it's not something we can really make a rule. Flaming is attacking a user, not his work. We're not the internet police, and we just can't work 24/7 to make sure that everybody's happy. If you're not willing to accept the fact that people won't like your work, you shouldn't post it here.

I'm not so much worried about my work. I expect criticism without something useful. I just see it happen to a lot of other people.
All I'm saying is that there should be something a little more notable in the Rules and Regulations section. I'm not asking you to watch each and every little post, because I know how tedious it can be (I moderate my own forum with quite its own little problems).
I hope that this whole thing hasn't been interpreted as an insult to the staff, because that was not my intention by any means.
Thanks.

The fact of the matter is that it would be difficult to enforce, and it wouldn't benefit at all. First off, the staff would have to ask the creator if they didn't like the comment, then we'd have to inform the person who made it. This would have to be done an excessive amount, when it's not even flaming whatsoever. It's more trouble than it's worth. If you don't like the comment someone makes, you can ignore it, or you can ask them to give you some tips. We're not going to enforce something such as this, which is based mostly on opinion.
