Wow. At first ALOT of people hated the idea (That I talked to on aim) Hated the forum megrge.But then I didn't care much. But when a certain someone (no names listed) told me the new skin looks... lets just say bad. I didn't know what to think. But WOW when I say it. It looks worse then my Free phpBB site I had before it got stolen. But still wow... this skin is horrible! it looks just awful!. I REALLY think you should consider change either the skin or colors. and what phpBB version is this? The idea of the sub forums looks bad. not to be gay or annoying but wow its horrible.

Ok lets spend another week changing it. If you don't like the idea of subforums, too bad.

Ask almost anyone about the skin. They'll all say its bad. (most of them)

How on earth is it awful? The look of the forum hasn't changed that much from the old one, there have been only minor tweaks and addition to the graphics. I simply cannot see where you are coming from.. Unless you're unhappy with the categorisation and the layout of the sub forums..

Like it has been said many times, if you don't like it go somewhere else, i'd say go to your own forum but you said it has apparently been 'stolen', i think the fact somebody stole your forum speaks volumes about you...

Isn't the new forum phpBB 3? I think it is...if so, that'd explain some of the new UI and things. And yeah, a new skin is probably not going to happen. I'm not ruling it out for sure, as I'm not in I_F's, Grenadiac's, or Kirk's mind, but I don't think it'll happen.

I think the layyou it OK nothing more nothing less. But the skin is overly shiny. Why not use the old skin and port it to this new phpBB.

There is very little difference in color, and subforums make it easier to navigate.

I'd like to point out that we're open to suggestions, not rants. There's a rant thread from the User's Forum in the Cafe section.

I dislike the subforums. But I like the skin.

Honestly it doesnt bother me really... I think it will just take some getting used to.

I'm suggesting you chage the skin. The thing about halomods is if you DO like the thing there suggesting youo flame them. I just think if they tone it down. But whatever i just REALLY hope you guys fix this.

There's ads. Deal with it. They help pay for the server so that people like you can come here and post.

We're still in the process of fixing stuff so just wait.

BTW is it just me or is the avatair thing not wokring. probely just me.

I rather like this color scheme...It's nearly identical to the pre-merge forums...Nice and clean in my opinion, and most people I talk to like it...Guess it's just the circles we run in...

That being said, it's always been my intention to allow user selected color themes...You just need to accept this is the one your stuck with...We went through this last time we changed it too...You get used to it...I wouldn't hold your breath for a darker theme either...I have alot on my plate right now, and while it's on there aswell, it's not near the top of the list...

I see no reason for anyone to dislike the skin. It really is almost the exact same.

I like it alot more than the original. Its more smooth.

We'll like it evetaly. As long as the thing at the top is fixed forums.halomods.com thing I'll be ok. And the icons.
