Guess I'll post here about the ad. I'm running it because it pays _substantially_ more than my normal ads, enough to upgrade the halomods webserver in December. The campaign will stop at the end of the year, then I'll go back to the normal ones.

I've contacted the ad people about a different size banner or putting it at the bottom of the page instead. I know it is annoying, but the benefits of it long term are pretty significant. The new server will be more than twice as powerful as what we have now, and it will go along with some other changes that will be announced later. I think it will be worth it for the temporary inconvenience.
