Screenshots required in Halo 2 Downloads...

As the title says, I have a suggestion, that screenshots should be required in a post when submitting mods, it would save 10-15 posts of people saying "Pics Please" and also there is no excuse now, for not getting pictures.
We have wonderful trainers and applications available at our disposal, and I feel a lot of people (particular newer modders) don't take advantage of these.
I am sick of people saying "Can someone get pics for me" when they release their mods, they DO NOT have an excuse for not getting pictures. Fair enough if they have a valid reason why they cannot use the trainer, but they could still ask people prior to posting to get some pictures for them.
And lastly, I think it could potentially filter the number of "n00bish" mods, as the people who tend to post mods without pictures, also tend to be the ones posting mods that are just projectile swaps and other stuff that has little to no effort put into them.
Anyways, that's just my little rant/suggestion. I hope someone will take it into account, as there really is no excuse for not getting screenshots with the resources we have available to us now, thanks to the likes of Xbox7887 and Aquetas.

Heh, I've suggested this numerous times I believe...I'm for it as I don't download mods without pictures anymore...As evil as that may seem...
Wonder what will happen this time around though...

i think people should have pics for any mod, even for PC, now there is no freakin way to not have pics for mods there, cause its just a button away.

i dont aggree, people like me have yelo, just cannot use ust, which every single time they have to ask other people to get pics for their mod, unless you, especially igeo would like to get pics for every single mod that any one makes, if he cannot do that than... o well i guess it shouldnt be required than.
you have to take a look of the other side for once, even if you can, some people have their reasons, and some of them are logical...

I think you're missing the point: Don't post if you don't have pictures.
Second: You don't need to use UST to get the pictures, you can just FTP to your $s folder and grab the pics and de-swizzle them.

If you can't use one or other the least you could do is PM a patch to someone and have them take pictures before you release something.

But, that requires you know and are friends with someone who is capable of taking pictures...Isn't it easier to post your mod, and ask politely of everyone all at once to please take pictures of your mod if they are able?..
There are valid excuses for not having pictures of your mod...And if no one wants to take pictures for you, many people will just skip over your mod...But in the end, thats your choice and theirs...

I agree with Iron Forge if I see a mod that doesn't containing cheating and doesn't have pictures I will usually take some. Alot of people can't get the trainer to work and just because you can doesn't mean that everyone has to take pictures.

i agree also, i would be one of the people helping take the pictures too, grated if i had high speed, and understand that not all people are capable of the same thing.

You dont need to be friends with someone, and I often see people having text in their sig's saying they are willing to take pictures for someone, so they could find these people ask them to get pictures.
Remember, this is a last resort if they cannot use Yelo and UST, which almost everybody should be able to use.
Yes it has [b[minor[/b] flaws, nothing's perfect... I just think, and I know others do to, that all mods should have pictures, maybe at least a 24 hour warning period like when something is posted without an attatchment?
Can I please have some moderator/admin feedback?
Thanks.

Well if no one posts pics in the pc sectiio within 24 hours, we remove the mod. I suppose it's reasonable to apply this this to halo as well. But if the user has no way what so ever to get a picture, I'll allow it to stay.

That's cool, I think it's a change for the better.
Thanks for taking my suggestion into consideration,

Yelo and Screencap trainer weren't the only ways of getting pictures people...There were other methods prviously and they are still available. Although they are probably considered harder to understand than yelo...
Last time I had the suggestion of having an emblem of a camera with the title similar to "I can take pictures for you"...The only problem I saw with that last time was that people, like now, would say one thing and do another in order to get an emblem. I'd take pictures if someone were to ask me, however its not as if I always can even if I wanted to...
But if this were enforced I can just see a problem already...Instead of people saying "I'll go take pics for you to stop the thread from being deleted" they'd say "get pics 24 hours till deletion" just like the whole prefix thing where everyone wanted to sound important...

That is true people can say that and won't do it but if I see a mod that has no pictures now I will usually take pics unless it has cheating stuff in it and now that I actually own a faster and better computer patching maps are really fast. It use to take 12 minutes just to patch a .sppf >_<

Taking pics of your mod should be a choice, not a requirement...In the same way that using serenity is a choice, not a requirement...If you use serenity, you get added to the repository, more people will use your mod...If you take pics, more people will see your mod, and are more likely to download it rather than skipping it over...Most mods without pictures are mods from new members who don't yet realize this...And to put it bluntly, any mods which pictures would make you want to try the mod, probably already have pictures taken for them...
Given how easy it is to just ignore mods that lack pictures, I don't see the point in enforceing it...

heh, yeah...I guess that works too instead of adding emblems and rules etc for it which would get in a potential mess.

yeah, not making it required does make sence. Im partially saying this because im in a position to where my mod cant have pics because there is nothing that looks different, its just an side effect that will make juggernaut more interesting.

So I think that there shouldn't be a requirement I will just take pics for people ( I can be the camera man ) I already took pictures for h2h when he didn't have pictures.
