wtf? People keep saying that to me but theres no way in hell I was banned. I've made a total of 2 topics, both of which are in no way against forum rules. I'm always having trouble with this site. Every time I try to make an account it keeps going that the account is invalid. And beleive me when I say it- I couldn't have been banned. This is the most posts I've been able to get in without something happening.

here
THISis the only topic I've ever made. Thats all I've ever posted. There's no way I've been banned, since I've never even had a chance to post because of these problems.

You were banned from files, not here. You were banned there because you admitted to modding on Xbox Live.

Dude I admitted to modding on custom games on Xbox Live not in matchmaking, I don't cheat or anything. And not only that, but I specifically went out of my way to ask what your guy's stance on XBL modding was and that I'd respect it if you were against it, and I got no answer.

It's more of a zero-tolerance thing. Modding + Xbox LIVE = Bad on Halomods.

Modding in customs is still modding on Xbox Live.

well I would have liked to have that cleared up first before just banning me...
But what may I ask is the unquestionable?

By unquestionable he means, he won't tell.

It's not like the rules are hidden from users... If you have a question about whether or not something is allowed, you read the rules.

well I read under "new users click here" the "rules" topic and the "halomods basics" and I didn't see anything about it, so I started a topic entitled "what exactly is your guys stance on Xbox Live modding" or something to that effect and then my user name became invalid and my posts got deleted. I think thats rather unfair, considering I put in effort to find out what the rules are and I got banned for it.

Look harder. In Announcements... Aren't announcements/News some of the most important things you'll find in a forum? The rules are there. Universal HaloMods rules.

Well actually it never occured to me to look in news, I figured it would be either an annoucement across all forums or in the new user section. I looked in this thread
http://www.halomods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2 if thats what you're talking about and I still don't see anything about that. But again, its unfair to be banning me when I actually took the initative to inquire as to what the rules were.

I don't care how you say you mod Xbox Live, you still mod xbox live.
If you wanted to see if we allowed xbl modding, I suggest you could have looked around and gathered information on the subject if it was that big of a deal.

Thats kinda what I did... I posted a topic asking what your stance on it was. I never posted XBL mods or anything of that sort. Actually the only two topics I even posted were that and my visible projectile patches. Neither of them caused any problems.

You don't understand. We don't want XBL modders here. To us, XBL modding is probably one of the worst possible offenses here. If you mention you XBL mod, we ban you, simple. Even if you're asking if it's allowed. You still XBL mod, whether or not it's allowed here.

Thats rediculous. Banning someone should be related to their forum behavior, which I posed no problems. I mean I offered to respect your stance and everything. But whatever. I guess theres no changing things now.
May I ask what exactly it is that you have against XBL modding? I mean as far as I see it its the same as XBC modding, execpt only on new maps. By modding on Xbox Live you can reach a new audience and entertain new people. I don't even think anyone could cheat on Xbox Live with it- you get banned from matchmaking within a matter of hours.
