Sigs and avatars

I really think that people should be warned by pm if they have an oversized avatar or signature. Some people don't have their sig stored anywhere or deleted it if an image. If it's obscene, go ahead and wreck it as much as possible, but not if it's a half-byte above the limit.

a half-byte is called a nibble ^_^ and some people don't check their pm's so this way is good.

1. lol
2. But some do check pm's. If they don't, they had their chance to fix for 2 days after the warning. People like me don't want to make up a new one.

People have been warned.
If they'd be bothered to read the Stickies once in a while then there would be no trouble at all.

I never got warned when my sig was deleted except in the sig after deletion

Did you read the new Sig Policies?
I'm thinking you didn't because if you did it wouldn't have been deleted.

See, even if I had an oversized sig or avatar, I would have known right away that they needed to be changed because I always read the stickies and announcements, especially when I see that there's been new posts in them.

Exactly.
If you keep an eye out for changes in the Stickies then everything will be fine.

i read all the everything, made certain my avatar was well within the limits, and it still got removed, and my siggy was taken out with it to tell me that i had broken the rules by not breaking the rules.....

removing the sig is just easier and visible and very hard not to be noticed.
