Also, hopefully following in the footsteps of the LMP, the second remake is Coag.

I was under the impression that pruple reighn and moonbase alpha were comepltely new?
Unless of course, those ones get delayed like last time.....

Purple Reign is definitely not a new map... No, Tural, I don't have any evidence to support that.

I really just want a new map. A good new map, simple but effective. All Halo 3 is missing is one GOOD map, the way Blood Gulch was for Halo 1 and Lockout was for Halo 2. Halo 3 has no map for Halo 3, only tons of crap. Until then, I don't think i'm going to be playing Halo 3 much anymore.

There are no standouts I agree. However, there is a fair few I really like. High ground, Last Resort, Ghost town and Blackout come to mind...Yes, two are remakes but that doesn't stop me from having fun.

Agreed. Chill out was even overplayed on XBC when Halo1 was prime.

What about Valhalla? Also I really liked Chill Out so this is good news. It would be nice to get Headlong as well though.

Imo bungie should just take same map layout and make better skins and more detailaid environement xD

Fuck spiritual successors. Valhalla was and is a good map still. Chill out sucked ass. It still will. Same for derelect and the other remake they made for Halo2. They picked the worst remakes for Halo2 and they are on the same track for Halo3. Chill out MAY not be horrid like the others but I still disagree with them remaking it. Even the longest remake was a piece of shit. Even aesthetically, it was ridiculously stupid.

Personally, I don't want to see coagulation remade. It was already a remake. If anything they should redo Bloodgulch. Not because everyone played it or because it was an awesome map. Mainly because it's such a booming classic. I suppose i'd settle for another coagulation though. Eh, I really like standoff though.
