Sniping tips...

I made a thread over at bungie requesting tips for sniping.

There's some good stuff in there (and bad stuff), I though y'all might appreciate it.
Of course, if anybody has anything to add...

There's really no other tips than use the sniper a lot and aim for the head.

Remember, it was a lot harder to snipe in Halo 1.

Very true. Which required more skill to hit people with. Some of those people are correct. Others...not so much.
I need to comment on the "sweeping" he talks about. It's not as detailed as they make it seem. Basically, you quickly turn from right to left and try to pop a shot off without scoping in. It's not as difficult as it may seem but not everyone have the reflexes for it.

I thought they got rid of sweeping from Halo 2...
As for halo 1....The lag free and the larger heads had nothing to do with it ;p
I'm interestd in sniping tips...So I'm going to read.
