Has anyone found any tags for secret guns Bungie may have put in for easter eggs? Not nessicarily found the weapon in a map, but just found a tag for one?

Like a Scarab Gun? I'd think that someone would have posted by now. I've not seen the tags myself, but it seems unlikely all things considered.

Nothing of interest. I recall looking through most of the maps shortly after the first tools were released, I don't remember anything special.

its possable cause i remember a long time ago that the bungie guys where talking about debating of if they wanted to put this one gun in and how one of the testers was having too much fun causing mass distruction with it.

That was the Mauler, which is listed as "Excavator" in the tags, and has been since the beta.

It was. I'm far too lazy to go get the exact words, but they were describing the Mauler. It was the only gun in the beta (Which is around the time they said that) that wasn't playable (Excluding Mangum, which is not what they described).

Technically the magnum was playable in customs in the beta. but I am pretty sure thats what they said...or at least it sounds right :?

That really didn't have any importance in my post.

yea....but for second when i thought about it was mildly relevant. anyway. They didn't hide much of anything (besides skulls if u count those) no giant soccer balls either or other such easter eggs.

random...but I found 4 easter eggs, weapon box outside Floodgate, monkey jacking off outside Sierra 117, street cone outside Sierra 117, and phantom stuck in tree outside Sierra 117, and if you count the empty cave outside Sierra 117, 5 eggs, but no guns so far :/

That has nothing to do with this topic.

And? You're still posting something entirely off-topic.

Im just saying I gave a heads up so you didnt have to reply, and if Im not mistaken others were talking about eggs, so I contributed to there post so Im not off topic of the discussion

Without discussion of what is or isn't on-topic this forum wouldn't be nearly as active.

I prefer the classic H2 Scarab gun, shame there isn't one in H3.

Yes, I liked it too, but I wish there was one in campaign, maybe a hidden brute plasma...that would be cool

Brute Plasma Rifle? That could be cleverly hidden. If they made a random area of a random map have a small area with red lighting... They could make it appear to be a Brute PR when it was only a regular PR? Probably useless, but that would be hidden from those who merely scroll through [weap] tags.
