Heh, I thought the exact same thing back in 2006 with the E3 Trailer... nobody listened to me :( . Anyway, I'm sure it was just something Bungie did to screw with our heads.

with regret,

>_< No.
The forerunners came to Earth, made the portal to the Ark and the covered it up so the flood wouldn't know how to get to the Ark.

Amirite?

The Theory can be either way, I myself think that the Forerunners inhabited Earth after creating it, then they went scientific accidentally created the Flood then in the Halos which were originally like...*in my opinion) Forerunner Science labs disguised as Fortress worlds. BUT HEY I am just rambling on now.

Old. Older than old.
No.
Comic clearly shows that the Forerunners came to Earth, in the early days of the human race, and constructed the Ark.
Case closed.

If anyone bothered watching all of the Iris videos and read the terminals on all the difficulties, you'd know that the Flood are an extragalactic parasitic race. As for the Forerunner originally being from Earth, you'd figure that since humanity is already pretty sure we originated from Africa, that the Forerunner could pinpoint the exact location of the origin planet. Also, Forerunners seem to have six fingers, according to a handprint on several hologram switches on the Ark.
And you have it the other way around. The Fortress World (the main weapon of Halo) is disguised as a Forerunner Scientific Lab. The only reason that the Forerunner put atmosphere on the rings was so it looked more docile to the prying eyes, although I fail to see how any race could look at a giant hoola hoop and not think, "WTF?"
Edit: Why are there cracks on the outside of the ring?

I've seen this before... a really long time ago. It's probably just a coincidence more than an 'inner meaning'.

That is what I mean Nemihara, as the flood I thought forerunners accidentally created them, but hey cant blame me, it was my theory, plus I never have time to read terminals. and I never heard of the Iris videos.

Also i never see 6 finger hand prints on any holograms in h3

Why would you present a theory on which you are knowingly uneducated?

Because that is almost how all freakin Theories start, until you learn it. Derr Derr Derr.

When you're educated you know what a Theory is.

I highly doubt Tural is going to have a conniption over someone being a simpleton. He's one of the mods that usually gives a rational reply.

I honestly have nothing to argue. I think his post consisted of every point I could have made against him, he did my work for me.
