My biggest problem with the online is that it randomly picks your maps and gametype. Or should i say not randomly. Anyone else notice bungie is only letting us play 4 of the maps over and over? The Pit, Valhalla, Epitah, an snowbound. Honestly this is really making me mad as i would like to play more than those 4 maps everytime i play. Ive had it since the release and play every day and there are still maps i havent used. This is a dick move on bungies part and its one thats really makin me mad.

Yea I agree Bungie should make more of the maps and gametypes appear in matchmaking.

Correction only 5 of the maps i forgot about High Ground. Besides this ive not played the other maps. It should be peoples choice as to what we play not bungies.

Have you played all of the playlists?

yea ive tried em all, ive yet to use any map but the ones i listed. oo and i just remembered every once in a blue moon last resort comes up, so 6 total. 6 is a good number but they have more maps and i feel by making it there decision what gametype and what map we play they highly took away from the online. Im growin sick of playing the same games over and over. Plus if ur on ranked u cant stay with ppl so its quite common that u play the same map twice in a row. This used to be the peoples choice as to what we play and what map we use. They are takin away our ability to think for ourselves and forcing us to play the maps and gametypes they want us to.

i think they have got a good reason for it...

So far I have played all the maps in matchmaking and all the playlists, except Hammers.

meh, non the less the issue remains that there random selection sucks even with the veto system. Its pointless veto one map get a worse one and ur stuck with it.

I think I play isolation too much.

Certain maps only work well on certain playlists. If you claim you only get a few maps, you must have some really shitty luck. I get a fair distribution of maps throughout various playlists. The only two maps that I haven't seen come up often are Last Resort and Valhalla. This can easily be explained by the fact that I play mostly FFA and Doubles games, and I expect they come up a lot more in games like BTB.

So yeah, I'm willing to say there is absolutely no problem in the frequency of maps. I highly doubt you have a problem either, you just seem to think you do, and then blow it out of proportion and assume it's like that for everyone.

i have played every map in MM...i used to play isolation like every other match...now its guardian for some reason...gets old after a while but i am pretty darn decent on that map.

also IMO The Pit = The Phail....

It's hard getting the achievments like two for one once your lvl 15+ in lone wolf. Or atleast for me . In FFA you rarely get a vehicle map, and when you do, you can never seem to run anyone over.

I've played every single one of them. I've gotten Narrows the most. I love that map.

I only played a few matchmaking games. I got The Pit and Epitaph several times, but I also got Sandtrap.

I've played them all...the most frequent for me has been guardian, which has been things like KoTH, oddball and Slayer (I like FFA most). On team games I've had valhalla quite a few times and sandtrap once...Also a whole range of gametypes for Last resort.

I love valhalla.

But yeah I think its due to the places you go...Tell me which matchmaking areas do you go to? Social slayer? FFA? Team objective? doubles?

w8 can't you create your own game in custom game? and set the setting to live instead of local? i don't have live yet or i should say played live yet so im just asking....
