just wonderin if i happen to get a hold of the maps for the beta, would there be a way to make them work with entity? i dont havea the beta but if i can get the maps then is there a way to make them work soo i could go through and look around?

No, but there are many applications you can use to "look around" with in the Halo 3 modding thread. You could even use a hex editor if all you want to do is look around. Just don't post anything that could be a spoiler, and if you find something you want to post...run it by a staff member through PM first.

The only publicly available application for doing so.
Also, there's really nothing of interest anymore. Everything (Save one or two select things) in the beta map files has been publicly shown or acknowledged.

just wonder why you would be asking right now? it's only about a month to go til the real game is release...most stuff on the beta has already been reviewed and release as articles.
