I was just wondering what the qualifications where to get into this, because I just checked my account on bungie and it turns out I got in. This is strange to me, because at one point, I had been banned over there.

They selected about 40,000 people based on activity and other things.
From that 40,000, they randomly chose 10,000 and sent them invites.
You were one of the 10,000, and you could have downloaded the beta five days early, on May 11th, if you had known you had a code.
