Woot bungie realeased a pic of the new commercial coming on dec. 4.

Anyone see the weapon he got? Some people been saying its the pistol from H1.

All i see is an Assault Rifle.

There we go. I circled what the bungie forums people where talking about. I think it kinda looks like the H1 pistol.

Thats not a weapon...

Too long to be a pistol, most likely an SMG. However, if it were an SMG, it would appear to be upside down from previous images.

If you've noticed any of the Halo 3 images, weapons are held there.

Details are similar to the ones in this picture, on the gray/tan Spartan's back.
On third thought, it probably is the SMG, that would be a weird position for the BR.

Zoom in and it looks like the same model as the AR but i dont think the AR is what hes looking at

Ah, I can see where you're coming from now; I think I was picturing it upside down. May very well be a pistol indeed.

In this picture, is that the Halo 1 shotgun in the air near the explosion? Or was there really no difference between the Halo 1 and Halo 2 shotgun models? It looks a lot like the Halo 1 model to me.

The weapon he's holding definitely looks like an SMG, and its nothing new, Bungie would not give you a glimpse of a new weapon in a commercial during a football game which less than 10% of halo fans will be watching.

About the shotgun, in halo one the flash light below the barrel, right? If so it not the same model because the flash light is now beside the the barrel.

It's not a pistol, the pistol is silver not black. It looks like an SMG.
And that commercial being released on Dec.4th isn't actual engine/gameplay, its just a CGI commercial.

Ok lets say more like 99.99 Halo Fans will be watching that just for the commercial or TIVOing it

I won't. The only cable I got is internet. I do believe though that this game will have a unusual amount of viewers.

Well what's the point in watching the game if the commercial will be up on the internet within the next couple hours?

Because we're scared it might not be on the internets :O
