well maybe we will learn the official release date Monday, December 4 - The Official HALO 3 Trailer is going to be shown on TV.


Also, my dad is reading "The Ghosts of Onyx" - and the planet that you see on the trailer for halo 3 is not Earth. That is Onyx. Onyx is where they are training the new SPARTAN 3's. The S3's have no shield. The suits are made for kids. Although they have no shield, they are always cloaked (Like the arbitor in H2SP). They also run faster and jump higher. So my dad says that in HALO 3 , he thinks in MP you can choose to play as the S3 or the S2 and heres why.... Say it takes the S2 4 shots to die, and it takes the S3 2 shots to die, well, the S2 is slow and always visible , however, the S3 is always cloaked, runs faster, jumps higher - balance , eh? Also, he says he doesnt know, but he doesnt think that the big think on onyx isn't the ark. He says it may be but probably not. Also, some S3's disappeared in training and the trainers (Linda, Dr.Housey) couldnt find them. However, they found them later on (20 yrs later) and they had been with some scientists underground searching through and mapping the Forerunner tunnels FOR 20 YEARS and still had only mapped a small % of it.

And this is pretty neat, the Forerunners are Forerunner Humans because, some Sentinals These arent your normal sentinals, they have 3 legs and shoot a beam stronger/hotter than a plasma beam came out of the thing that is on the H3 Annoucement Trailer and started attacking the S3's. Although the S3's were invisible, the sentinals could still track them. But linda and Dr.Housey were standing there training the S3's and the Sentinals didnt even look at them. They just attack anything that doesnt look like its human. Thats why the sentinals attack you in h2SP - because you dont look human!


Anywayz, I hoped that entertained you a little until my dad reads some more

1) That's not the trailer, it's just a promotional video that will be shown.
2) It is Earth, Bungie confirmed this by saying he was in Mombasa, which is located in Africa.

Well, first off, I have to say that your dad is horrible at reading. I've read the book already. I know everything that happens.

Spoilers that prove you wrong (and even right once or twice) below.

2. Please, give me a page number where it says they run faster and jump higher. The Spartan 3s are inferior in that respect to the Spartan 2s. They are only superior by the fact that they have special injections that lets them access animal instincs; allowing them to live longer and fight more fiercely. (sp?) They are only meant to be made en masse to take on incredibly hard missions and cause devestating damage to the Covenant, but they are expendable. They are cheap Spartans that were made to die. Trade a few hundred lives for billions.
3. The Arbiter is not always cloaked in H2SP.
4. Hey! You got somthing right! Onyx isn't the ark. You get an internet cookie!
5. Give me a page number of where some Spartan 3's disappeared so they could map the Forerunner tunnels. ONI did that alone.
6. Linda never trained the Spartan 3s. That was Kurt.
7. Yes and no. The sentilals are similar, but not the same. They don't have 3 legs. They have 3 boons , not legs. Boons are those floating pieces of metal, and if I remember correctly, are teardrop-ish shaped.
8. I don't know if the beams are stronger, but Nylund sure does make them sound alot stronger. The shields are also improved over the ones at the Halo and Delta Halo constructs.
9. Remember the scene where Kurt (I think, it may be somone else) is stuck in this crevace, with a sentinel right in front of him? Well, in that scene, he's about to get lit up by the laser. He then yells "STOP!!!" at the thing, and it reacts. It backs off, and the laser dims. It tries to communicate in a language he didn't understand. He makes the universal "I don't understand" gesture, and the sentinel tries again. He understands a Greek/Latin word (forget which), and comments about it. The Sentinel then begins speaking English to Kurt. I forget what happens after that, but It most likely doens't attack because it associates the Greek/Latin and English to the Human race, and (this part i remember) refers to Kurt as a "reclaimer" (just like MC). Somthing's up with that, The Sentinels are somehow related to humanity. Or, they just happened to intercept some transmissions across FLEETCOM and/or TEAMCOM, and pieced together the languages themselves.
10. SUPERSPOILER OMGZZZZZ
The Spartan 3s are not going to be in Halo 3 because they are, basically, stuck in another dimension. By entering the final teleportation pad in the core of Onyx, they are teleported to a space that, in our dimension, would be circular and about 5 meters in circumfrence at the true center of Onyx. On the inside, in the other dimension, The "world" is multiple times the size of Earth, and is Concave shaped, kinda like the Halo constructs. It has vegetation and is much like Earth, except for the concave shape. The story ends with them just arriving in this area, and they continue moving through this area, and the story ends. P.S. Kurt dies but kills the Covenant Fleet Commander and a LOT of other Covenant in the process.

I have already pointed out that:
1) It's not the trailer, stop calling it that.
2) It's Earth, not Onyx, this has been confirmed by Bungie, no need to even talk about it, because it's official information.

Trailer or not, I think you know what I mean.

I don't see why you are bringing up #2. Onyx does not have the Ark, plain and simple. I have yet to see this "Official Announcement" saying that Earth is the ark. Please, feel free to prove me wrong.
