Everyone, please read this thread.
So, assuming you've seen the things of which we do not speak, what are your thoughts?
Personally, I'm somewhat disapointed, I mean, look at the gap (graphically) between Halo and Halo 2, and they were on the same console. So surely the increase of graphical beauty should be more then that of Halo - Halo 2, because it's on a whole new console! (Am I making sense?)
Not very next-gen if you ask me, look at the GoW trailer, and that's the in-game engine... then look at Halo 3... just seems like they've got Halo 2 and added some photoshop.
I expected better bungie... althought it's still awesome... but the weapons sound and look poo... "spiker" i'm sure someone had that weapon in one of their mods. And that thing the yellow spartan is dual weilding, yuk!
and the new feature on the 'x' button? What you guys think it'll be? I like the idea of the reloads on the relevant bumpers, but the new 'x' feature? Bullet time? Nightvision? wait, where's the flashlight gone then? OMG I need to shut up.

Then those lazy geeks at Bungie should make Halo 3 for the X-Box, X-Box 360, and the PC.iGeo wrote:Not very next-gen if you ask me, look at the GoW trailer, and that's the in-game engine... then look at Halo 3... just seems like they've got Halo 2 and added some photoshop.

If they let the magazine people play the pre-alpha, I doubt they would release much stuff that wasn't in there. Are we supposed to expect a finished product at this early date?
Wait for the official Bungie release, don't judge the entire game based on what you see in leaked scans of a Swedish magazine.
Edit: Wait wait wait, are you agreeing with me, or arguing against me?
Your post confuses the hell out of me.

I thought the images that I haven't ever seen or are allowed to ever see were great
I say progress thus far looks great...
I doubt I could ever be discouraged from buying it anyway...Unless they decided to change halo 3 to a 3d side-scrolling game to compete with the olden day Sonic the Hedgehog...Which would make no sense, but they still could do it..............................
