HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

hi i just was doing sum stuff with my comp, the launcher opened before...
all i did was install .NET framework v3.5 and now it wont open and it gives me this error code "8004005" what do i do to make my map editor for halo 2 open again? please help

is there a program like the moddings for halo 1?
if not WHY NOT
i just wish i could find a program like halo hacker tools or halo map tools or sparkedit, but they will never work with halo 2
