how do i add a montier to a map

no it was me because well out of stupidity is tarted writing if it helps though i went through and found every piece of meta in backwash that the monitor is in

so if i put one of those machines in a map and change it to a grunt or marine is it gonna walk like its drunk or badley.

well all the metas there would be for the monitor, so if you put all of them in (inject) it probably wouldn't work but if it did it would look act and be exactly the same as the monitor on backwash.

that said with some editing you could figure out a way to change it so a marine walked around, to have it be more life-like that would be beyond my skill...yet.

Edit: i have been working on it and my next plan is to insert every tag or meta (slightly confused at this hour) hopefully that all goes well

I think what tural was saying about 2401 petinent tangent being scripted, was that there is a pre-recorded animation that makes the monitor mach "fly" around the level and hum to himself.

the humming and sounds and effects are not scripted. his moving is scripted, everything else is just the engine

That wont work because you cant add tags yet, and you can only inject meta that is the same size. Even then Mr.Mohawl doesent relink anything so it would be all messed up :?

i have been trying to manually (hex edit) inject the meta (i believe, correct me grim) from backwash into coag.

the snare is on jmad tag and dec* tags because these do not exsist in coag.

i know i am wrong here but have a small shred of hope because i have no idea what i am doing so knowing am i am wrong doesn't help when i don't know. so i venture onward

jmad does exist in coag as jmad is the animation's tag...

edit: oh okay i see yeah but can i just copy and insert the tag (monitor's jmad) into coag in the correct offset or no?

No, you cant. I can garentee you that if you do anything by hand you will screw up your map. YOu can inject meta by hand, atleast not you. And you cant add any tags to the maps yet. Finally ths offsets for each map are totaly diffrent :? I would suggest not trying this cus your waisting your time.

im suprised you even knew the montier in backwash name.

what if i imported flood a in backwash would they chase the montier or me?
