Whenever i try to compile a map with my custom shaders it always gives me a endless list of errors(no really the scroll bar just gets smaller and smaller). I think that it has somthing to do with the shader collection file. it looks like this:
mylev grass scenarios\shaders\multi\mylevel\grass
mylev snow scenarios\shaders\multi\mylevel\snow
mylev cliff scenarios\shaders\multi\mylevel\cliff

except the spaces that i used to seperate here are two presses ot the tab button in the file. Also in the file it says to find the level bitmaps from normal levels there is nothing. I want to know if this could be fixed by reinstalling the map editor or if i am just an idiot and forgot somthing.

I did add a couple areas in my collections file but one thing i'd try to do is just put them in a file already in your collections file like f_ig the glass folder dosent have much in it anywyas or maybe the floors folder. i'm just saying that because maybe its your shaders. I do put some of mine in the forrunner folders anyways and find the tif file that goes with it and put it in the corrosponding data/bitmaps folder for refferance.

But just make sure when adding a new folder in the shader collections file to read instructions up to carefully. thats all.

If you create the shader correctly and its in an area your shader.collections your shader should show up in the editor.

But i cant get some shaders to do what i want them to.
Like i can't get a detail bitmap to work right for grass. i really want some realistic looking grass but cant figure it out. Yeah, i'm a noob still but i'm learning and i'll probably figure alot of my questions out myself by trial and error. Its more like trial and error, error, error.
