i find no reason not to post ways to get around the operating system.
it is a modding site but if you cant use it you cant mod it and this is a discussion and the forum does not say modding discussion,it says h2v discussion. meaning a place to discuss every aspect of h2v you wish.

and if your talking about the legal issue it is also illegal to download games to your xbox to mod old maps and to pirate moded cds to mod old maps.

as far as im concerned. i would like to know how to crack h2v because i would like to play it and i like windows xp better than vista.
i respect your reasoning but i still see no reason to say people cant discuss what ever they want in a discussion forum.

How does ScottyGEE have anything to do with this? The Admins are the one who disallowed it and you should respect that decision.

Actually, there's only 3 official administrators here, and they've pretty much left. The decision was made by a few of the regular staff (not including ScottyGEE). I am also against the decision.

Heck, I'm not. I was getting pretty sick of all the "H2V on XP??!?!11" topics that were clogging up the forum. If anyone ever sees one of the admins ever again, they should tell them to admin-ize at least one of the mods, so they can fix profile editing.

Only a site administrator can do that. Grenadiac and Iron_Forge are currently the only ones who will most likely *ever* have that power. Oh, they've also pretty much left.

Same here, you either buy vista like it was intended by Microsoft as we did, or you stay with XP and don't bother us and spamming the threads with all those H2 XP threads. BTW I find that windows Vista is far superior to XP in almost every way so you're not wasting your money if you buy it and your system specs are at least: 1GB DD2 Ram, ATI Radeon X1300 PRO/nVidia Geforce 7300 LE, and if you buy the Home Premium or Ultimate versions.

There's a reason Halo 2 Vista won't work on XP, and we're not going to help people with their problems on it. The administrators of this site have chosen to not support the XP workaround because they view it as a crack, and we are not a crack site.

End.
