I herd that H2V is going to be one of the games on the new windows live which is like xbox live but, for well obviously PCs. Well my dilema is that on xbox live you have to pay inorder to play mutliplayer. Am I gonna have to "pay to play" H2V multiplayer? Or is windows live a "dedicated server" type thingy & normal servers are free like the current halo pc? If i do have to "pay to play" then there goes one reason not to buy H2V.

You can play online with other's without paying. You won't have matchmaking and/or other features but it is setup to allow silver memberships to play. Gold memberships being the ones that pay.

Is it possible to play cross-platform with halo 2 for xbox and H2V. Like in custom games and such. I know yuo won't be able to use the edited player-created maps from H2V, but I just wanna know if someone on their PC could play another person on an Xbox through "Windows Live/Xbox Live."
That'd be amazing

Actually, its not completely off-topic. Its under the correct heading and everything. I asked one question, you need to calm your caps-lock pushing self down.
I've been in this forum once, I don't believe a scolding is necessary.

It is off topic because this topic is asking about H2V costing money, not if cross-platform is possible..
