well i was playing ascension, and i looked down and tryed to throw a grenade and i noticed that master chief stands up slightly higher if you hold the grenade button, then i pressed it rapidly and it looked like he was dancing lol

MAKE SURE YOU THROW ALL OF YOUR GRENADES BEFORE U DO THIS

or set it so u dont have any

No not really.. Well kind of. It's really just moving your gun up and down. Let me guess, you had a battle rifle? Try it with the rocket launcer. It won't work. :)

You can acheive the same effect pressing down on the D-Pad, ( gun moving up and down,) but your legs won't move.

you don't get taller, you put your gun to your shoulder, then when you look up an down only your head moves.. it's designed for halo movies like red versus blue. its very old, first discovered when halo 2 came out. very old.

actually, that's him changing posture, due to his gun at his chest, its not a glitch it was built into the game.

Yes. It was based on a glitch in Halo: Combat Evolved, where when looking all the way down, the head came back up. Rooster Teeth used this in Red vs. Blue. On the Halo 2 Special Edition bonus DVD the developers explain that they put it back in (However, in Halo 2, it works only on System Link by pressing Dpad-Down, and in all modes when holding the Left Trigger whilst holding no grenades.) to give more versatility to machinima creators, such as Rooster Teeth.

So in short: Not a glitch, it was designed to do that.
