This is an awsome trick that you can do on story mode. Go to the level where its snowing and you have to find the control room. Near the end of the level the headline saying "If I had a Super Weapon" comes up right after a checkpoint. Run out the door infront of you as fast as you can and steal an enemy banshee before an elite can enter it. Then Fly to the control room to your left and use the banshee to kill all the covenant that are guarding it. The next part is tricky because if you mess up, you have to restart the level. After openning the first door inside of the building, go to the door to the control room. Position the banshee so you can get back in very quickly before the door opens. Then open the door. Once you're in the banshee, wait a second and then fly through the door as fast as you can. The screen will go white and when the cutscene starts, it will show master cheif walking through the door and the banshee will fly in and run him over. The cutscene will go on normally, but master cheif will be dead on the floor, and you'll here master cheif's voice in front of the cortana eventhough he's not there.

cool. i've done something like this before. On the maw i was playing on co-op and the final cut scene when master cheif runs into that ship my bro assainated me during the cutscene.

I knew about using the Banshee to fly to the left, and miss lamost half the level. But I have never seen master chief die from it.
